Annual September Cleanup

The Victory Boulevard Merchants Association is coordinating a clean up day this month to help brighten up and beautify  the streets of our community, on Sunday, September 24th. Join Councilman Steven Matteo, the Person Centered Care Services, the Victory Blvd Merchants Association (VBMA), and other volunteers for a day of community service and fun. Meet members of your community as you work together to make your streets cleaner.The Victory Boulevard Merchants Association is coordinating a clean up day this month to help brighten up and beautify  the streets of our community, on Sunday, September 24th. Join Councilman Steven Matteo, the Person Centered Care Services, the Victory Blvd Merchants Association (VBMA), and other volunteers for a day of community service and fun. Meet members of your community as you work together to make your streets cleaner.Volunteer on your own, or come down  with a group. Scouts, schools, and other local groups are welcome to volunteer and help out! Supplies such as garbage bags, gloves, and painting supplies will be provided for volunteers. We will be focusing on cleaning up the area of Victory Boulevard between Jewett Avenue and Manor Road; doing service such as painting fences, poles, etc.;  litter clean up; and weed removal. It’s a great opportunity for neighbors to get together, make friends, and improve your local community. The event will start at 9 AM at Alfonso’s Pastry Shop, and will last until 1 PM.We hope to see you there! Come visit our merchants, shop, eat at our restaurants and pubs and support your local business community.
